Our vision and mission is to help connect people to faith
Worship services at the Metropolitan Church are designed to be gospel-centered, with the hope that people will grow in their faith and be challenged to think about their relationship with God. Our worship services include a mix of traditional and contemporary elements, and we use a variety of media to communicate the gospel message. We want people to encounter God in a personal way, and we believe that worship is one of the best ways to do that.
When we worship together, we are reminded that we are not alone in our faith journey. We are part of a community of believers who are all seeking to grow closer to God. Worship is one of the ways that we can connect with each other and with God.

The Metropolitan Church’s mission is to minister to all people’s spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs by sharing the liberating gospel of Jesus Christ through speech and practice.
This mission is accomplished by providing members with experiences and tools that will challenge them to grow more Christ-like and empower them to live lives of significance and service as servant-leaders in the church and in the world.
Gospel worship is one of the ways that we can minister to people’s needs and help them grow in their faith. It is a tool that can be used to challenge people to think about their faith more deeply and to engage with the gospel message in a new way.

Our Beliefs & Values
Unity
When we worship Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the truth that we are all called to be one in Him. As we sing praises to God and thank Him for His Son, we are unified in our purpose and in our love for one another. This unity is evident when we see people of different backgrounds and experiences worshiping together. It is a beautiful thing to behold and it is a testimony to the power of the gospel.
Love
When we gather to worship Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the great love that He has for us. This love compels us to respond in turn by loving Him more deeply and serving others with the same selfless love. As we grow in our love for God, we also grow in our love for others. Worshiping Jesus Christ increases our unity as a church family because it helps us to see beyond our own individual needs and desires and instead focus on the needs of others. This type of love is at the heart of true gospel worship.
Hope
The gospel is not just about getting our lives in order. It’s also about looking forward to the future with hope. Because of what Jesus has done for us, we can be confident that we will spend eternity with him. This hope gives us the strength to face difficult times and motivates us to live for something bigger than ourselves.
Become Like Christ
If we want to live lives that are pleasing to God, we need to grow more Christ-like. The gospel shows us what it looks like to follow Jesus and how we can become more like him. As we grow in our faith, we will find ourselves becoming more patient, kind, loving, and obedient. We will also be better equipped to serve others and share the gospel with them.
